I’m sure this is true for some, but I’ve dated some genuine nerd girls. Definitely did not live up to the hype. In fact, they were pretty similar to their male nerd stereotype counterparts – socially awkward with poor hygiene.

Actually it can be a question because this is simulating a real life situation. When someone says something like “corn, peppers, or cheese?” They can add a quizzical tone to make it a question.

Why all the hate for Pokemon? True some people take it to a retarded level but what about the nostalgia? D:l It’s not like it’ll kill you. Also it’s a joke is it not? They’re just meme comics chill out. xD It’s better then playing Angry Birds or some other stupid iPod game when traveling isn’t it?
I only liked Pokemon due to the fact I have OCD so any games that have achievements I never feel I’ve beat the game until I finish every single possible achievement and get the full collection. I’ve also collected the cards back when I was in high school. But ever since they made it into a kid’s show and didn’t add strong language or blood – I lost interest after a while.
Nice comic but perhaps re-title it Poke-Geek Speed Dating. Geek is broken down into MANY categories – with my first two stereotypes being Star Wars and Star Trek junkies. Then you have comic book collectors. But Pokemon is more “gamer” not really “geek” per say.

again, I know this is extremely difficult for people on this site to grasp, but there are in fact some people alive who were already adults when pokemon came out and have no interest in it. Not being knowledgeable in this regard does not make them ‘out of it’ any more than you are ‘out of the loop’ for not watching whatever eight-year-olds are into today.
