Indeed. Every fandom has it’s rule 34 minority at the fringes. The subject of the fandom is largely irrelevant – the fan bases of Star Trek, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Bronies, etc. all exhibit this. The point being that it’s rather prejudice to dismiss any given fandom as perverts because of a small minority of it’s members. Likewise the existence of rule 34 material is not a distinguishing factor of any one fandom over another.
But wait, there’s more! Furries have a MAJORITY of rule 34 material and deviants. That’s what makes them looks extremely gay

The whole dressing up as an animal thing is never something I’d get into, but it’s that furries are so damned pompous. Like cosplayers, they take their hobby/their kinks way too f*cking seriously.

I enjoy all of those, however it is not my lifestyle.

I find it a little sad that so many people hate on this just because it’s anthro. So what? You don’t have to be into a fandom to appreciate artistic talent. I’m no furry, but I can still look at this and say “Hey, that’s well drawn.”
It also disturbs me a bit that several people are talking about how pretentious all furries are. I happen to know a handful, and they’re some of the nicest people I’ve met. You can’t judge a group of people based on your experience with one or two. What I want to know is why anthro bothers people so much. It’s been around for longer than people realize. It’s just another artstyle. So some people take it too far – so what? That can be said about everything. Just… stay off furaffinity if you value your sanity. And your lunch.
