Outermost reframe misses the point.. it’s not the sizes of the pools that were being compared, it was how much fun they appeared to be, in terms of slides, decor, etc. That one in China looks horribly un-fun and downright scary!

Public pools, you kidding me? In Finland we have a private square kilometre of lake for every person in the country. Sure it may be cold most of the time, but when was the last time you fapped in a public pool? Guess your fancy pools can’t do that, eh?

American pools are misrepresented here. We have plenty of great pools and water parks– Six Flags and Disney World just to name a couple big ones.

Those aren’t public. You have to pay for those. And there’s Six Flags and Disney Parks all in Europe and Asia, too.
I’ve been to public pools in America that are much nicer than that portrayed in the Europe picture. You have to pay for it, but I’ve never been to a public pool that you didn’t have to pay for.

I’m fairly certain Europe didn’t come up with the genius idea of a theme park like “Six Flags” or “Disney World”, though, now did they? Nice try.
The theme park is an extension of the Amusement park, which was created in Europe.
Also, I came from a small hometown and it had a pool that was nicer than the European one.

I always feel the last picture is a bit of a misrepresentation. It kinda looks like there is just one swimming pool. However there is another big one next to it, another medium one on the other side. And then either a very big one or three medium sized ones above it. So there’s actually 4-6 pools in the picture.
It’s still crowded but no where near as much as it appears at first glance.

In Europe at some outdoor pools, they keep track of how many people they have inside the water-park, so it is never overcrowded. Clearly it is a fail for Asia. Greed for money has no limit I guess.
And check for water quality every hour.
