That’s why you defeat the nightmare in your mind when you’re awake. Then you can sleep peacefully.
and how do you do that wise guy?
Don’t mind him, he’s a philosopher.
AAAAAHHH… I’m ok, I’m ok….. Let’s do this!……………………………………AAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!
When you’ve woken up in the middle of the night after the first terror, you imagine in your head that you defeat the monster or whatever. When you go back to sleep, you’ll be fine.
Profit.
gona do it
My recurring nightmare is more complex than that:
I dream of many different settings, but the underline is always the same: No matter how much I struggle, or run, or fight, or anything I am doomed. THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO TO PREVENT THE IMMINENT DISASTER.
How do I fight that which in itself cannot be fought?
Chuck Norris, he`s the answer to EVERYTHING
FIRIN’ MAH LAZAR!!

^This. Or learn lucid dreaming = no more nightmares.
That is very hard for many people. But the profit is totally worth it.
A lucid dreamer can still have nightmares, only he can ‘force himself’ to wake up before they develop. At least that’s what happens with me.
in a lucid dream you can fight nightmares, there is no need to wake yourself up… there is an excellent book by Stephen LaBerge about that
i wrote this at school l0l
Even worse when you sleep in front of the television.
HAVE NIGHTMARE. WAKE UP. SEE COMMERCIAL. FALL ASLEEP. SAME NIGHTMARE.
It feels like I’m the f*ckin’ network television broadcast of Saw.
Brain: “No, dude. Dude. Duuuude. You really need to see this!”
You’re about to kiss the girl you love.
You Wake up.
Never Again.
Brain, Y U do this with nightmares but not with s3xy dreams?
QFT
Man, I don’t think I can remember my last nightmare. I think it was about a screaming baby transforming into a Yeti right in my own hands.
My trick is to roll over before falling back asleep. It always works; makes me have a completely different dream.
mine is to open my eyes for about 5 seconds then going back to sleep
Nightmares are easy to deal with, you either fight them or just don’t give a f*ck. and remember to NEVER panic. easy peasy. how do i deal with zombies? I cure them by hitting them with a towel! if you don’t got a gun to shoot the bastards use whatever your fantasy can come up with… doesn’t matter if it doesn’t make sense it’s a god damn dream. well i got a lot of self control in my dreams tough…
a monster jumping of the water to drag you down? i’mma punch that d00d in the faaaace!!
remember that humor is your best weapon against nightmares.
when things are scary they stop being scary and be awesome instead!
Every freaking time I have a nightmare
more like continues nightmare when awake on all the walls and everywhere you look so you can never escape…….that didn’t happen to me when I was 5 I don’t know what you’re talking about…..
for some reason i only have nightmares when im sleeping on my side o.o
but when im sleeping on my back i cant have one, its so weird
anyone else have this?
this is my night’s sleep as well. always involves being lost though.
Nightmares have the advantage of being easier to remember, and also good conversational fodder. Psy-trauma yourself to a more interesting you, close those eyes again without moving the second you wake up!
