    LET THE FLAME WAR UNLEASH

    MEN, TONIGHT, WE ARGUE….
    IN HELL!

  6. Orf says:

Nice. Spray paint someone’s church. And it’s not even lolz. What an idiot. Very classy.

    • Geodracula says:

I lol’d at the picture AND this comment

    • Dwight says:

      angry christian o:
his worshiping hall for his almighty invisible wizard was sprayed on
quick guys lets all go and wash it off!!

    • TheyCallMeTomu says:

Oh, I see how it is. Any OTHER building, and you’d be A OK with it, but the MOMENT that it’s a church, BAM. You demand special treatment. Oh, religion is to sacred to make fun of.

Though, I do agree that as a joke, it’s kinda lazy. I mean, imagine if everytime the bible said “God” you wrote Zilla after it. It’d be all like “And Godzilla created the earth.”

I mean, it’d be amusing at first, but it’s not really that nuanced of a gag.

      • labby says:

I’m a Christian, and I’d think spray painting something stupid on any building would be annoying.
Especially if it were my building.

Though, if it were artistic and had taste/significance, I’d put a plaque in front of it with “unknown BAMF artist” in front of it.

    • charro says:

Akshully, it is lolz. You’re not though.

    • John Trolllensten says:

And this is why I choose to have no religeon.

  7. derp says:

I’ve seen this in person. It’s right here in Tucson, haha.

  8. mariomario42 says:

I’m pretty sure I know exactly where that is. Like a 5 minute walk.

Hopefully, I don’t think ‘happiness is submission to god” is on many houses.

  9. rsinclair says:

Need an imaginary friend? Why not Godzilla?

  10. HB says:

This is in Tucson! I drive by this every day. About once a year someone will deface it like this. I feel like we’re famous now.

  11. chez says:

Sorry but “happiness in submission” is creepy even without the S&M overtones.

Also: you are now picturing godzilla in leather. I will not be the only one to suffer this.

    • The Great Goggles says:

XD That just made my day. Thank you ^^

    • 06th says:

I still don’t see the problem.

(Also, I’m a Dom, and the whole leather thing is lame. Certain articles of clothing are fine. Coats/jackets and collars. Aside from those it’s just not attractive)

  12. jeremizzle says:

    ruck reah, tucson

  13. xRSAkingx says:

That’s funny because it has been proven time and again that Christians are the most targeted group of people in the world. I could spam you with headlines of murders and hate crimes towards Christians. ANY religious building should not be sprayed on. Or any house for that matter. It is a crime no matter where you go. Not asking for special treatment. Just the same respect you demand from others :P

    • asdfjkl; says:

Nope, learn some history and get back to me kid.

    • Yo' mama says:

Did you get that bull on “Answers in Genesis”?

    • thelittletpot says:

Christians, the most targeted group of people in the world? Have you been watching Fox News and mistaking the things they say for fact? ^.-

Then again…Do you know who the primary opressors of Christians throughout history’s been? Other Christians! :D So, in a way, you’re right, but you have no one to blame for your oppression but yourselves…literally.

    • asdfghjkl; says:

      May i just say…

      Holocaust.

  14. Onatu says:

I’m a Christian and I found this funny. The stereotype has been broken.

    • Jac says:

Christian too and I think it is kind of funny. Sucks that they have to clean it off though. Someone once spray-painted a swatsika on our Hispanic based church and we had to get it painted over. :(

  15. JP says:

I don’t always approve vandalism, but when I do, they’re trolling Christians (or any other ridiculous form of monotheism)

  16. tobias says:

That’s in Tucson,AZ on E 6th ST & N Euclid Ave. They’ve since painted over “zilla”. i pass it every day on my way to school

  17. Daniel says:

Yeah, defacing private property. Hilarious. That’s stupid, mean and just plain dumb. The church has to pay to have that taken care of. If you were any type of business owner you would have to pay to have it taken care of.

  18. tucsonbeerguy says:

FYI This is n a house in Tucson (not a church) between U of A and Tucson High School… Besides Everyone knows Happiness is Submission to the Hypnotoad!!!!1!!!!!1!!!

  19. Hans-Erik says:

I am the pastor of a christian church and I found it very funny. and by the way I grew up in tucson arizona and that building is not a church or a house… it is an islamic studies center for university students. Still funny?

  20. rusty says:

Oh no! A church has to pay for something out of their tax-free donations!

  21. Lytrigian says:

If this is a right-wing fundamentalist church, I don’t think they realized how they’ve trolled themselves here.

They need to look up what “islam” means in Arabic.

  22. AlexTheTroll says:

And that my children, is why Jesus raptor exists.

  23. I think they should just make their permanent sign say “Happiness is submission to Godzilla” and be done with it.

  24. Redav Htrad says:

The Yoda joke in the title actually has no relation to the content. I guess the mods were desperate for a good title.
