  1. Dänemarker says:

If I compare the American(and others) system to the one in my country, I see just how correct this is :S
I’m so gonna get low grades at my gymnasium

  2. Cheryl says:

Teachers at my university say that it’s the freshmen who suck at school because they get carried away with partying, then by senior year students have learned to take school seriously.

    • Ash says:

I guess it can go either way. Or that all the party-goers have been kicked out do to academics, weeding them out of the studious crowd.

For me? I have a bad case of Junior-itis for sure. This comic has got me to a tee (except I was never ever late for class my first year.)

      • Lytrigian says:

Junioritis? When the hell did that start happening? Senioritis is a well-known syndrome, but you still have something to work toward as a junior.

      • Baman says:

It’s a balance thing.. some people come in and know their majors, and some switch majors, lol. Once you figure out what you wanna do, you look like the guy in the Sleeping bag, lol.

      • neoritter says:

Well see that’s why the Freshmen is rushing to class. The only thing wrong with the submission are the grades. Plenty people I know had better grades their Junior/Senior years than their Freshman/Sophmore years. But those things can go either way.

I think the sleeping in part is definitely true. The longer you get into college the more you realize attendence doesn’t matter all that much (depends on the class though).

        • Kei says:

By the time you get to your junior and senior years you probably have had enough experience to know which classes you can get away with not attending and still do well, namely because you’ve learned how to study, how to ask for class, or even aren’t intimidated to approach the professor.

I’m a junior, and this has got me to a T. Though quite frankly I think the freshman is more high school and the second university for me… living out of home gets the parents off the back, I only answer to myself when I miss class and get bad grades.

    • alicia says:

i think this is about high school, at least thats how i was in high school :p

  3. Moshmellow says:

So why exactly is a B+ something to go FUUUUUUU- over?
Also, this tish is so right! :D

  4. lolwut says:

Yeah, this is true. After 5 years of college I’m burning out bad, although I haven’t gotten lower than a C in classes yet. The one time I tried to skip class the teacher cancelled anyway, so I just tend to get lucky :P

  5. Lucas says:

    Oh god, so true.

  6. Sarah says:

It was the opposite for me. I was a little prick for the first two years of high school, then I manned up (so to speak) the last two years, after I realized it was srs bznz.

  7. Sergit says:

    B+??? C-??? …

high expectations asian dad is disappoint

  8. YOU LOST THE GAME BY READING THIS says:

    Welcoem to my life.

  9. Bambi says:

I rarely get a B let alone an A but I don’t really care anymore, I might just get a job as one of those ‘classy’ escorts that are £800 a night but don’t necessarily have to have sex with you. Basically a professional troll.

  10. chassless says:

    *CORRECTION*
    freshman year’s exam results : C-
    senior year’s exam results : B+

  11. clamslam says:

What is the name of that laughing guy?

  12. yomilo says:

After living two years and a half in California, I must say, the education system is not better than the one we have in Mexico.

I must accept, we are an underdeveloped country, but in Mexico we have a strong science based high-school curriculum. If our reputation as a county (Mexico) wasn’t so porpoised up, our people less corrupt, and our children finished their educations, we would be first world…

Poor of Mexico, facing bad administrations over and over again :(

  13. desu says:

I loved the face to the right

  14. andimatrus says:

    Is that maradona?

  15. IronSirGoogly says:

The first panel reminds me of all my up friends(?)~ The laterreminds me of me, of course~ =3

  16. NT121784 says:

didnt go to college. made me lol though

  17. Assaf says:

    lol, nice one

  18. Austin Nettleton says:

Mannnn I already act like its senior year then… and I’m only a freshman.

  19. Amadeus says:

Soo true. I’m in fourth year, but my roommate is in First year. She gets a B for any test and she freaks, while I get a C and I’m content. She freaks when she’s late for class, and I just don’t go to class if I see that I’m not going to make it on time, or at least on the first ten minutes of my class.

  20. Shouldnt those actions say “*le sprint to class*”?

  21. alicia says:

where does it say theyre talking about college, unless the creator of the comic said it somewhere?

  22. miss riddle says:

The senior panel was me throughout college other than the grades.

I managed all As and Bs somehow.

  23. Farn says:

I actually got a B+ in an exam this week and was pretty pissed off about it.

  24. jovifcp says:

whats the name of the laughing guy???

  25. Tony? says:

My only regret is that it is all so true.

  26. mezalor says:

What is the name of the face in the right column?

  27. Godzila says:

What’s the name of the Laughing Guy???? at the Right Column?

  28. AlteisenKaiser says:

I think the most depressing part about this is….. is that it’s so true.

  29. Josh says:

What’s the name of the cool guy on the right?

  30. motaku96 says:
