*sigh* she’s a cook on the food network (and other channels i suppose) and her specialty is ‘southern’ food which often requires a lot of butter.

Paula Deen is a Celebri-chef on Food Network, who loves to use butter in a lot of her southern fare recipes. She is married to the captain of a tug boat, and has her own restaurant in Savannah Georgia called the Lady and Sons. I enjoy watching her shows and have made several of her recipes and they always turn out wonderful!! These recipes are not for eating everyday, but for special dinners (suppers) or just for something different. She has recently started mixing some heart healthy dishes into her repitoire.
So this website really is starting to suck. Every one of these is stolen from Food Network Humor, with their logo removed and Memebase logos slapped on. Try harder next time because you all fail.

This website is most unflattering and grossly under exaggerated. Paula is much worse than this. No, seriously, Paula is the greatest. I especially appreciate how strange she is because I like the shock value. There’s nothing wrong with being silly and doing something funny that is not at someone else’s expense. She looks so beautiful in full HD on DISH Network’s HD employee service. I can also see the butter glisten in it’s full glory. There’s nothing like it, except lard. Lard is better.
Butter makes just about anything taste better, and lard is the ONLY thing to use for SouthWestern cooking.
As for the cholesterol bugaboo … read “Good Calories, Bad Calories” by Gary Taubes if you want to know what really raises serum cholesterol levels, and puts on excess pounds. It’s NOT fat. We have been lied to for 50+ years by the CDC and NIH…mostly as the result of very sloppy research, and “cooking” the results by a Harvard nutritionist who had a bug in his …errr… Uhmmm…ear about fat.

I love watching Paula Deen…. but I do believe (along with hundreds of other people) that Betty White should have been this year’s Rose Parade Grand Marshall, not Paula. Or, they should have shared the honor. They’ve both done more than y’all know for shelter animals. I think they would have laughed together all the way down Colorado Blvd.
Ya know, we don’t get to see much Paula Deen over here in the UK (although I could probably find something on satellite if I really wanted) but watching these memes…I just kinda think…is it just me or…is she kinda…you know…erm…cute?
